A 15 g sachet of real honey carrying four plant extracts and a little vitamin C, in fixed amounts you can read on the pack. Six natural ingredients, honey the main one. Tear the notch, squeeze it into your mouth, done.
It is sold as a food product, made for people who like a routine. Kiwi-owned, shipped from New Zealand in a black bag made from recycled plastic.
It is a routine food. Honey is the base and carries four plant extracts from Thai and Chinese tradition, plus a little vitamin C. You take one sachet every 3 to 5 days, in the evening, and keep it up the way you keep training.
The studies on each extract are on our research page. We have not trialled the sachet itself, and we promise no result or timeline.
Supermarket honey is just honey. Ours is honey plus five natural ingredients, each at a fixed amount printed on the pack, sold as a food and taken one sachet every 3 to 5 days as part of your routine. Kiwi-owned and shipped from New Zealand.
Whatever you buy, check that it lists every ingredient and its amount. Ours does.
Six natural ingredients, honey the main one, each at a fixed amount printed on the pack. Here is what each one is, where it comes from and why it is there.
-
Honey 14,500 mg
The base of the sachet
Real honey, one of the oldest energy foods there is. Studied as sports fuel, it held its own against sports products. It carries the other ingredients and tastes good, which makes the routine easy to keep.
-
Butea Superba 150 mg
Red Kwao Krua · northern Thailand
A forest vine root from northern Thailand, known there as red kwao krua. You get more of it than any other extract in the sachet.
-
Black Ginger 100 mg
Kaempferia parviflora · the highlands of Thailand and Laos
It is a ginger-family plant from the highlands of Thailand and Laos, purple-black inside. Hill farmers in Thailand took it before a day's work. Researchers have tested it for grip, leg strength and walking distance.
-
Cynomorium Songaricum 100 mg
Suoyang · Inner Mongolia, Gansu, Xinjiang, Qinghai, Ningxia, Mongolia and Central Asia
A desert plant with no leaves and no chlorophyll that grows under the sand. It was first written into Chinese herbal medicine in 1347, where it was eaten in porridge. You will rarely find it in other honey products.
-
Ginseng 100 mg
Root
The “person root”, written up in a Chinese herbal text about 2,000 years ago, and the most studied ingredient here, including for tiredness.
-
Vitamin C 50 mg
The vitamin found in most fruit
125% of your daily intake in every sachet. Listed at 50 mg, like everything else in here.
Amounts are per 15 g sachet and reflect the current production run. Notes are general information, not health claims. Sold as a food product under New Zealand food standards. See the research behind every ingredient.
Honey first, with the extracts behind it. It is thick, so warm the sachet in your hand if it has firmed up in the cold.
Your order comes free on a tracked courier from New Zealand, straight to your door in a black bag made from recycled plastic, and every order includes our free 20-page guide to energy and routine.
Each of the four plant extracts comes from Thai or Chinese tradition and has a growing number of small studies, mostly on each extract on its own. We have not run a clinical trial on the sachet and we do not claim a medical outcome. Every study we found is on the research page, with the numbers and links.
What we stand behind: every ingredient and its amount is printed on the pack, and it is sold as a food product under New Zealand food standards.
Keep sachets at room temperature, out of direct sunlight. Honey can thicken when cold; warm it in your hand for a minute. Do not use a sachet if the seal is broken or damaged.
Adults only. Skip it if you are allergic to honey or bee products. We do not recommend it during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
If you have high blood pressure or a heart condition, take blood thinners or any prescription medicine, or are managing a health condition, check with your doctor before trying it, as you would with anything new. Always read the label and take only as directed.
